Mary Lee’s House is comprised of several agencies that work together to provide aid to the victims of child abuse and neglect in Hillsborough County. MLH provides a single location for these organizations to consolidate their services and to quickly and efficiently refer clients to the different resources available in the building. This method of addressing children’s issues has proved to be extremely effective and will hopefully continue to succeed in preventing child abuse and neglect in the future.

Unfortunately, Florida ranks third in the nation for child deaths due to abuse and neglect. Each year in Hillsborough County alone, many children suffer from preventable cases of abuse and neglect. Our mission at MLH is to protect, respect, and heal the children and families who pass through our doors. MLH is committed to undertaking this vital work in our community and has already provided thousands of services to families since opening in November 2008.
